Gram Bharti Mahila Mandal (GBMM) is a Social Voluntary Organization, registered under Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act [1973], in the year 1986.

Our mission is To improve the socio-economic status of rural and urban population through people’s participation and grass root activities towards sustainable development.
Gram Bharti Mahila Mandal (GBMM) is a registered Social Voluntary Organization, registered under Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act [1973], in the year 1986. The organization has been working in the Rural and Tribal areas of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh for socio-economic development of the underprivileged. To rejuvenate them, GBMM has rendered its services to several vulnerable communities including children, women, and youth in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. In the last 35 years, the organization has touched the lives of more than five lakh individuals.

Drug De-addiction

DRUG DE-ADDICTION

Running Nasha Mukti programs since 2006 to help individuals overcome addiction through counseling, awareness campaigns, and rehabilitation support, assisting over 2,500 individuals.
Child Education

CHILD EDUCATION & WELFARE

Operating Balika Grih shelter home for girls (7-18 years) and re-enrolling 1,500+ out-of-school girls through the Educate Girls program in Shivpuri district.
Water & Sanitation

WATER & SANITATION

Implementing Jal Jeevan Mission across 600+ villages, installing water purifiers in 100 schools, and constructing 25,000+ low-cost toilets and 200 handpumps.
Health & Nutrition

HEALTH & NUTRITION

Running Kilkari maternal health program, adolescent health initiatives reaching 5,400 peers, and nutrition programs that helped 160,000 Sahariya tribals combat malnutrition.
Women Empowerment

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Empowered 7,000+ women through 868 self-help groups, providing vocational training in pickle making, sanitary napkin production, and other trades.
Environmental Conservation

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

Promoting organic farming, tree plantation drives, and plastic waste reduction programs since 1985, with special focus on water conservation.
Family Counseling

FAMILY COUNSELING

Operating family counseling center since 1999 that resolved 5,520+ cases and helped reunite families through legal aid and mediation.
Shelter Homes

SHELTER HOMES

Managing Shakti Sadan for distressed women (18-59 years) and Balika Grih for girls, providing shelter, counseling and rehabilitation to 1,294+ beneficiaries.
Skill Development

SKILL DEVELOPMENT

Trained 1,500+ youth in 36 vocational trades through NCVT programs, with 80% placement rate in jobs or self-employment.
Menstrual Hygiene

MENSTRUAL HYGIENE

Producing and promoting sanitary napkins since 2014, training rural women in manufacturing, and distributing through self-help groups.
Disability Support

DISABILITY SUPPORT

Trained 1,360+ persons with disabilities in various skills, facilitated 2,000 free disability certificates, and arranged 20 marriages.
Livelihood & Agriculture

LIVELIHOOD & AGRICULTURE

Promoting organic farming and agricultural biodiversity in Damoh district, training farmers in vermicompost and bio-fertilizers since 2024.
