About GBMM

Building Stronger Communities Through Empowerment and Inclusion

Gram Bharti Mahila Mandal (GBMM) is a registered non-profit organization, established in 1986 under the Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act [1973]. For more than four decades, GBMM has been driving social and economic change in rural and tribal communities across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Our work focuses on empowering women, children, and marginalized groups through education, healthcare, skills training, livelihood support, and social awareness. Key initiatives include women’s empowerment, poverty reduction, tribal welfare, rural development, environmental conservation, and water & sanitation programs.

GBMM has been recognized nationally and honored with the Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Social Service Award 2025. Partnering with government agencies, corporates, and NGOs, we continue to expand our impact by introducing innovative programs, digital learning, and sustainable community development projects.
